FAQs

How long will it take to receive my masks?

Our designer masks are made on demand within two to three business days of purchase. Masks are shipped from our manufacturing facility in West Chester, PA, via your specified method at check out.

How do I care for my mask?

Printmakers Collective face masks are made using 100% cotton prints. Wash before wearing. They can be washed in a washing machine, tumbled dry, and pressed with a hot steam iron. Some shrinkage and softening is expected with the first wash. The CDC recommends washing your clothing at the warmest fabric-safe temperature and ensuring that all items are dried completely. We recommend looping the ties into one loose knot before laundering to prevent tangling with other clothes. Like your favorite cotton shirts, there will be slight fading with each wash.

Are these masks medical grade?

While these are not medical grade face masks, they may be used in healthcare settings when FDA-approved masks are unavailable. They are not recommended for surgical use or where significant exposure to liquid bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected, and are not meant to be a substitute for a proper N-95 mask. If you are purchasing masks to be shipped to a hospital in need, be sure to confirm the need and ship-to address prior to placing your order. What should I use as an insert layer for my Pocket Face Mask

Many different types of materials have been demonstrated to be effective at trapping particulates. Some common filter materials include; flannel, polyester-spandex chiffon, nylon, and blue shop towels. If you're creating your own filter, we recommend using a layer that is 5" tall by 7" wide.
