BLOCK PRINT DIGITAL

Born in the textile industry, raised in workrooms, and set loose in his family's print shop, Casey Dech founded Block Print Digital in 2016 during an internship at Adaptive Textiles. With the goal of combining the precision and texture of block printing with the power of digital editing, he creates textile artwork grounded in the natural world and traditional techniques. Through Block Print Digital, Casey works to preserve a legacy of artistry in the family that spans generations.

In support of the ongoing protests against racially biased police violence, Block Print Digital is releasing a set of message masks.  To be silent is to be complicit and the time for Casey to raise his voice against injustice is overdue.  These masks will never be enough, but they are a start.

Royalties from the Block Print Digital collection will support the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
